That depends on the terrain you are in and that depends on your bike. Do you ride on hills or is it all flat? Hills can work out almost your whole body including your heart if you climb them. As for riding on flat surfaces, the muscles and tendons in your feet, legs, thighs, and hips are getting a good work out.

What kind of bike do you have? A standard bike that the breaks are on the pedals and you pedal backwards to stop? Or is your bike a three speed or 10 speed where the breaks are on your handlebars? I was raised on a standard bike. The other bikes have different speeds on them and they make your riding experience easier than a standard. Standard bikes are hard to find and they are viewed as old fashioned bikes compared to what is offered of today.

I hope this answer helped you! Good luck and have fun biking!

Mostly from the waist down to the toes. But if you ride in the hills and are up off your seat, you will work every inch of your body (head to toe.) The steeper the better!
