the hardest thing for you would be to stop using the word like so unnecessary. After that Chinese language skills would be a plus (to make to easier when u get there). Visas can be arranged easily enough.

if you plan on working there, you would get a working permit from your company and then the visa is granted. It depends slightly, sometimes, your spouse would be entitiled to a visa but is not able to work.

" Some chinese do speak english, and you wouldn't get lost at all. I mean, I LIVE in Hong Kong with this being my 8th yr running, and I DONT know chinese...I'm still here!

you want to become a chinese citizen? that i dont know about. but just to move there and live and work you can do that on a work visa that you get from any company that hires you. lots of schools give work visas in return for a few hours a week commitment. if you dont need to work you can keep renewing your tourist visa in any major city for as long as you keep paying the fees to renew it. just make sure you go to where-ever-you are-living's local PSB and renew your residence card too. make sure you know the laws. other than that... china is a great place to live. learn the language.

everyone is a special person, to move to china, you first have to have a passport, then a chinese visa, obtained from the chinese embassy. then when you get there, you have to register at a police station. but if you can't speak chinese, or aren't going to be with a person that can speak english and chinese, you shouldn't go. they can't speak english so you'd be lost. and i mean really lost.
