depends on the age of their date. if your child is 14 and their date is at most 16 than it's OK. if your child is 14 and their date is 17 and over, probably not a good idea.

the right time to let a child go on a date is at the age 13-14
and if they start to get picky say until 30

Just depend how mature he or she is... I know a lot of guys that they are in their 30's and they are not ready either for a first or any date...
