Whenever I drink, even if it's just a couple beers I get really tired and can usually just fall right asleep. Is this very common, happens to everybody or what? I don't see how so many people go out dancing and drinking, it just makes me tired, and I'm a young guy too!

Probably because alcohol is a depressant. Alcohol does not effect two persons the same way. Some people get drowsy others lose their inhibitions and do crazy things.

Alcohol is a CNS (Central Nervous System) depressant. It also effects different individuals differently. The people you see doing the all night drinking and dancing have usually built up a tolerance.

Me, too. Alcohol is a depressant to begin with, and if you are on any kind of medication, that is probably just multiplying the drowsy effect.

Alcohol is a depressant...and you still have part of your brain that hasn't been destroyed by alcohol. Sip at only one beer and do yourself [and your brain] a favor! Dance while you are sober and you will know you are enjoying yourself.
