Who is Saint Rory Emerald?

Sometimes he jingled the change in his pocket and would sing, "Shekel, shekel, I've got a shekel." Apparently he had the song stuck in his head.

Jesus also liked to count his steps, and he washed his hands incessantly. I think he had O.C.D.

On the Sabbath, Jesus was known to frizz his hair out after services and pretend to be God talking to Moses. It was a great sketch, everyone loved it. He'd bug his eyes out and use a voice like Reverend Jim from Taxi, and he'd say, "Moooses... MOSES! Ya gotta take these tablets down. Don't break 'em, kid." Brought the house down every time.

Oh yeah, and Jesus loved the water to wine thing, but he could reverse it, so sometimes he'd play pranks and turn people's wine to water and then sneak off and tell the disciples for a laugh. He was a pretty funny guy.

Dear Snowy Dragon,

The key idiosyncrasy -- Jesus was God in Human form.

And salvation is through him.

For a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html

Cordially,
John

I wasn't aware Christ had idiosyncrasies - he wasn't like you and me - he was perfect - others may have perceived he had because they didn't fit into their idea of what the coming Messiah was to be - which really when it gets down to idiosyncrasies - are they really ours or what we perceive them to be in others because that other falls short in our expectation? Excellent question.

He apparently had a hang-up about girls and only hung out with guys. refused to get married, possibly gay. Kind of a Mama's boy but probably because he had a stepdad. his real dad was always distant.
He was a carpenter but was chronically unemployed. mooched a lot and relied on MIracles to eat. Could not afford rent so camped out with buddies and wandered around a lot. Would not get off his *** and buy a car. drank a lot of wine, which he made himself. (sounds a lot like my ex-brother in law.)

He was afraid of Q-tips.

I know, I know, they hadn't even been invented yet-- but I heard this from a pastor who was known to have a liking for scotch, so whatya gonna do?

After he was crucified he couldn't eat m&ms because they'd fall through the holes in his hands. I think he had the same problem with Reese's Pieces.

When he was a kid, he used to kill lizards then resurrect them just for fun. The other kids in Nazareth loved it when he did tricks like that.
