Saved from what? Your question is flawed.

Hi Bill!

It's so easy. Know that Christ died for you, and took the punishment that you deserve (just like He did for me, and anyone else who accepts this free gift).

Kinda like a proxy, ya know? Then admit that you know you have sinned against God, and tell Him you're sorry. Tell Him you want Him to be your Lord, to come into your heart.
If you are sincere, this frees you!

You don't HAVE to go to church, dear, but if you find a church that follows the Bible, and is a loving, teaching environment, then by all means, go fellowship with your new brothers and sisters! It can be such a wonderful feeling to know that there are people who are there for you. A church is filled with people who are more mature in their relationship with God, with Christ, and also those who still struggle, even though they ARE Christians (we're not perfect, just saved..), with everyday problems.

But again, no particular religion will get you into heaven. Christ is the key.

Your sister in Him,

Shiba

We need to realize that Jesus loved us enough to die on the cross for us, we need to love him for that reason. Then we must repent of our sins invite Him into our hearts and follow Him, not the world. It's a personal decision that we have to make on our own, religion alone wont save us. It's called being Born Again. John chapter 3.

Well, personally I think if you are clinging for life on the edge of a cliff and are about to fall you might hope someone comes along and saves you...lol......Seriously, you just need to open up you heart to Jesus and repent your sins to him...To be saved is to know Jesus...Everything else is just words and rituals. To know Jesus is the main thing to be saved.

You have to take the matter seriously, and then pray and ask for God to forgive you for your sin and to live in your life, accept him for your Lord and Savior. Allot of times people Pray this prayer for God to live in there life's but they go back to the way they were living before... don't do that. Just because you are a christian doesn't mean that you have to be perfect, when you sin ask Gods forgiveness it is never too late.

According to Judeo-Christian precepts, one must REPENT and ask for FORGIVENESS from God of one's sins and transgressions, and vow to sin no more... as it is written.

I personally consider Yeshua Messiah/Jesus the Christ to be the Greatest Prophet and Teacher among all that I have compared Him to: Moses, Buddha, Mohammed, Lao Tse, Confucius, Vishnu, etc.

I continue to strive every day as I follow THE LAW and commune with The Brotherhood with every breath I take. Glory be to God forever!

Learn all His Lessons well and heed His advice to follow His Path to the Truth... with the promise of eternal Salvation.

Peace be with you!

One: all mankind is born seperated from God because of sinful nature.

Two: God has given us the gift of being reconciled to him for all eternity.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Three: Jesus was the payment for us.
1Jo 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Four: It is a matter of the heart and intention when we accept Jesus that imparts his life to us. You may fool others but you cannot fool God or yourself.

It depends entirely upon which cult a person chooses to belong.

The bible does not offer any clear guidance on the subject, so you will not find the answer in the bible.

(assuming you are referring to the Christian myths)
