No, not when it comes to love, but yes when it comes to sex.
I've had crushes on some really old men before now, really nice people but the thought of their saggy asses in my bed at night turns my stomach.

It shouldn't matter though I have to say that I would be rather suspicious of the motives of a 20 year old with an eighty year old.
But there is an age gap of 25 years between my parents and they are still together after more than 40 years, so I know that a relationship can survive a fairly large age gap.

I suppose on the surface of it no, but sometimes if there is a great difference in age, over time you may find that you don't have as much in common with the person or you have different levels of maturity and thus differing opinions on many things. so..... I would say that if you are already in love with someone , it can work out but if you are starting anew its easier when the ages are close.

Love and age are totally differnt concepts on separate planes and hence they are no dependent on each other. Age doesnt really come in between love. The problem comes only suring the so called 'practicality' in carrying on with that love by giving it a form of a relationship. The moment you give a name to that relationship your mind gets into turbulance becuase we all have ( and the society around us) fixed stereotypes for any relation and that stereotype hinders the natural growth of love.

Love knows no age. But a huge difference can make a relationship very difficult. We love who we love for whatever reason. A good relationship is often what happens when there is a stalemate between equally matched adversaries. Hard for that to happen when the age difference is huge.

I think it does. Lets say if you are 40 and date a twenty something then there are gonna be alot of differences. You having been there done that and then taking the chance that after awhile the other person changes as we all do as we mature.
I havent ever seen anything like that work out for anything more than just casual sex myself. Not saying it cant work just highly unlikely

18yrs to whatever, it makes no diffence. Age should never be an issue in relationships as long as the two people are consenting adults and above the legal age of consent.
As for kiddy fiddlers, they should be strung up by their nuts and then have them cut off with a rusty blade. and just for good measure, gas em!
Always remember, mad dogs are put to sleep!

Cant' understand why women date younger men personally, I prefer someone older and mature with life experience (someone in their 30's? I am 23 and I think that's cool).
Whatever floats ya boat really, it's personal preference at the end of the day.

hell no age doesnt matter at all, i am 23 years younger than my son's father and we're still together going strong, it might matter when it comes to certain interests, and having things in common...but other than that i love having a man that has expirence because it makes life so much easier.
