I lived in Berkeley, CA for 14 yrs. before I moved to NY. I loved it there. It is so diverse and it is just like a melting pot for all cultures. You should definitely travel there. There are many things to do in Berkeley and make sure you go to San Francisco too. I'm sure you'll love it. It is a great place to live but the cost of living isn't cheap so I hope you can afford it.
Have Fun

WELL, I HAVE ALWAYS HEARD THAT LIVING IN CALIFORNIA IS LIKE LIVING IN A BOWL OF GRANOLA. IT'S FULL OF FRUITS AND NUTS AND THE REST ARE FLAKES.
