my cat lets the parakeet groom him and walk on him, its funny.

for me, it's my cat and my guinea pig. they groom each other, they play (no claws or teeth) it's really cute!

Maybe it's funny at the moment but cats cannot be trusted where birds are concerned. You should keep the two apart. The poor parakeet is the one who will suffer as he will really begin to trust the cat, and believe me, the cat can never be trusted.

The only time I ever saw my cat and a bird together was when
she caught one while hunting and put it's body on my bed.
I think it was meant as tribute or a gift,something like that.
Your cat sounds a little peculiar,unless he's lulling his prey into
a false sense of security. I've never heard of anything like that before.

no imean i never let it out with him in there so i dont know but last time chester(MY CAT) went right nextto him and i grabbed him before he could do anything else but i dont know!
