Since last November I've been experiencing relatively strong fatigue due to sinus problems (enough to keep me away from the gym).

In December I got Prednisone for the first time but that only healed me for like a week.

This year I had two surgeries that totaled around 11 hours on the operating table.

About a week after I finally started to feel normal, but a little knocked out due to the extent of the surgery.
Then BAM I get hit with a sinus infection thats lasted for the past 2 weeks and isn't getting any better. I'm on steroids, antibiotics, and god knows what else.

Does this ever get better or will I be living the rest of my life in a lethargic haze? By the way I'm 22 years old.

When I first moved to San Antonio, Texas 12 years ago, I had sinus problems so severe that I would spend one day out of the week in a prone position the pain was so terrible. Often I wouldn't be able to get out of bed on both of my days off. Many of my ex-military friends (I also am a military Veteran) complain of San Antonio ruining their sinuses. Anyway, for years I relied on over-the-counter and prescription drugs to take away the effects of my bad sinus condition. I would be fine for the day that the medicine was working but in 24 hours my sinuses would again be terrible and painful. I finally stumbled across information on the Internet and in the local library about diets helping rid people of chronic diseases. I also have taken courses in alternative medicine. I began to eat only plant material a year ago. I have now been a Vegan (a person who follows a plant-only diet for health or ethical reasons) for this year and I feel GREAT! I had a tiny sinus headache about a week ago but it went away on its own when I drank an antioxidant drink with tumeric, oregano, cinnamon, cloves and ginger (1/4 teaspoon of each in a cup of boiling water...steep for 10 minutes and drink). With a Vegan diet, your body heals itself and you don't need many of the medicines you were taking before. As long as you get your plant proteins during the day sometime (I drink organic soy milk and eat a small slab or tofu with one meal), you will be able to eat any other vegetables, fruits and starches you want. Try to eat fresh, frozen or lightly cooked plant products as a Vegan. There is a lot of information on the Web about how to eat this way...just put Vegan diet in the search engine. Good luck, dear!

You really need to ask your Doc if the new nasal spray "Astelin" will work for you. This stuff is MAGIC!!!

It doesn't irritate, it's non-steroid, it's non-habit forming and IT FIXES YOU!

Pay attention to the directions - you don't snuff it on back, like traditional nasal sprays, you spray it in there and let it drip out, like, into a hanky.

If he says it'll work for you, it'll change your life.

Prescription only!!!
