It sounds like whatever is causing your hayfever is out full force today. The things I'm allergic too are particularly bad this year. The dandelions sprouted early and so has everything else. Some days my allergy medicine doesn't seem to work. It seems to be a bad allergy year for most of us, unfortunately. You may wish to go to a doctor and get a prescription nose spray and eye drops. They can help. Or check with a pharmacist. They can recommend some good over the counter stuff.
As for the antihistamines not working, my doctor told me to switch allergy pills once in awhile. It's because our bodies become used to the active ingredient and it doesn't work as well.

The best way to control hay fever is by changing your medication(tablets) monthly then your body will react better and eat a banana 3 times a day this works my hay fever was so bad that I landed up in hospital a few times but after regular medication it basically stopped

yeah i no what you mean, mine was so bad yesterday and today!
Its not that they arnt working its because of the thunderstorms and humidity, this causes the pollen particals to explode into even smaller partcals which get up your nose and in your throught makeing people with hayfever worse.
Hope this helps xx

mine aren't working that well either. i'm taking tablets and using a spray as well! i'm going to my doctor because sometimes if you use the same one each year then your body gets use to it!
i'm sneezing all the time too, and my mum who doesn't really suffer from hayfever has got it really bad as well!
