Muslim my friend told me if God created all human equal then why Muslim men can't merry a Hindu women?

They can marry only a Katabiya that is woman of book that means jews, christian or Muslim as all have same roots.

But a Muslim woman can not mary a non Muslim; kitabiya or not.

For several reasons :
1. when u choose a wife , u want her to be religious in order that she would raise up ur kids in the very fine ethics of Islam , and also treat u as her husband in a good way as Islam ordered the woman.

2. the Kids , would be very confused if there's parents weren't from the same religion , you would ask now , then why they marry Christian and Jewish women ?! simply cause the 2 religions are abrahimic religions , means that the main principals in nearly the same , but in a religion like Hinduism , they worship several gods , and this is very different from Islam.

3. This doesn't mean that Hinduism women are less than any body , and the proof that if they convert to Islam , any Muslim man can marry them , this means as women they are not less any body.

God created us equal that's true, but we make the choice to believe or not to believe, and at the end the believers and nonbelievers won't be equal. Moreover, it is usually the woman who shapes the children's personalities, therefore a Muslim man should choose a woman that believes at least in the unity of God as his wife. This is why Muslim men are only allowed to marry Muslim, Christian, or Jewish women, and it is why they are encouraged to marry religious Muslim women.

Honestly, I don't know how Muslims are allowed to marry anyone.

The Prophet (Muhammad) said, "I looked into paradise and found the majority of it's dwellers were the poor people, and I looked into the Hell fire and found that the majority of it's dwellers were women"

Another time Muhammad said.....
"If there is evil omen in anything, it is in the house, the woman and the horse."

Muhammad taught that women were evil.

But as far as a Muslim marrying a Hindu.....read this about when Muhammad went on raids of villages. It is found in chapter 29, book 8 of the Hadith.......

It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a captive woman after she is purified (of menses and delivery). In case she has a husband, her marriage is abrogated after she becomes captive.

Maybe your Muslim friend should raid a Hindu village and then he could have a Hindu woman.

I think muslims are not supposed to marry outside of their religion. If your friend wanted to marry a Hindu woman, she would have to convert to Islam.
Maybe this is a way to convert as many people as possible to Islam and ensure that future generations remain muslims.

i think its more of the people and the cuture that says muslims and hindus cant be together. it's not that youy are a woman. my b/f(a hingu) once dated a muslim, and the parents were shocked. It's alot of historical fueds that took place bwtween muslims and hindus.. but it's not you.

Why not ask the same question to Jews for instance, they would not allow it if they could, too
