I always maintained that we should be able to. It's a proper term, and if we can type intercourse, ejaculate, orgasm, penis, vagina, as medical terms, masturbate should be among them. So, thank God.

I can't think of a reason why children shouldn't see these words in text. You are fooling yourself if you think adults have domain over "taboo" topics. You who do think that are just uncomfortable with human sexuality. And that's...okay. You can talk about it here, now.

Yes, Yahoo is pro-masturbation. After all, the regular search doesn't have a filter on it by default, so they must want you to search for porno and masturbate. Woot.

I think it's because most of the questions about masturbation were sincere ("Is it a sin?" "Is it unhealthy?"), as opposed to lewd. I'm glad we can use it as well, because people need to be able to get information on all forms of sex, and this is as good a place as any.

I agree, nothing wrong with these terms. Nothing wrong with sexuality and enjoying it in a healthy way, whether with yourself or another(s), as long as it is completely consensual.
Healthy acceptance and enjoyment of sexuality in our society would prevent many pervesions such as rape and child molestation.
