Put the burned CD-R back in the drive and open up the information from the CDRom drive icon. If the information went thru, you will see the files listed

Put in your cd and goto My Computer and click on the drive that contains the CD. You should see on the files on the CD that you backed up.

you stick the cd back in (the computer) and then when the computer asks you what action you want to take with the disk--you open it or "view file"
Or you can stick it in and go through "run" and view your disk that way to see what is on that disk.
LOL hopefully all your self starting programs won't start to open and self install all at the same time! ;)
