I think it would be normal, they say if you have a cold your sense of smell and taste are altered. Plus, If you think about it your body is working double time right now trying to fight the bug. Hey, you'll be hungry again soon, for now do something that doesn't require eating, NAP!!!

I usually don't have much of an appetite when I'm sick, even if it is just a cold. But you should eat anyway. As the saying goes: "Feed a cold, starve a fever."

Not only is it normal but it is healthy. Your body is telling you something, to stop eating. See site below which tells how Mark Twain (famous writer) got over every flu in only 2 days with fasting plus what 8 MDs say about fasting.

Yes because a cold can often affect your senses of taste and smell. Eat anyway if you can,and try drinking chicken soups.

It's normal when you are sick, because your body is trying to fight the bacteria in your body and are busy doing that instead of its normal bodily functions. Such as hunger.

What you should do is drink many fluids. All those white blood cells need water to function.

Get well~~~ take care too~!

Yes that is normal and it is because your bloodsugar tends to rise when you are ill. Higher bloodsugar levels correspond (and cause) a lack of appetite. Lower bloodsugar trigger's hunger.
