I understand that if a child (usually boys) has a I after their name then they are the first, II second, iii third, etc. with roman numerals. Also I understand that if you are the first then your nickname is usually "senior", second "Junior", third "Trey" or "Tripp", but what would the 4th be? I've heard of Quinn being used as the 5th, but this has been on my mind for a while and was wondering if there was an official nickname to be used.

Ok I'm not trying to be pretentious, my friend is considered 3rd and is called Trey, and he would like to continue the family tradition and we were just wondering if there was such a name.

In fact, people who are named sequentially, Charles I, II, III, IV, V etc. often have a nickname that bears little or no relation to their real name. This is especially true in Britain where they are very prone to repeat names from generation to generation, and then call the recipient of one of the names something like Bootsy or whatever. Who knows why?
If you are the first, there is no nickname until a second arrives. Because there is no need to differentiate your name from anyone else's. Seconds are called Junior. I haven't heard of thirds being called Trey or Tripp but it's an interesting idea. Logially, Quad would be the name for the fourth, which would fit in with Quinn for the fifth.
Interesting question!~
