Don't worry because if you live far away it would have not worked out anyways, you shouldn't feel guilty either,if you still have a communication with him you can tell him why you decided what you did.

No it is not wrong or mean at all but a mature decision. It sounds to me that he lives far from you and you just met. Any relationship is difficult and the distance alone would have made it even more difficult if not impossible! There will be a lot of other opportunities as you grow and some you will say yes to but most you will say no. Maturity shows a person realism and values. If he was serious about a relationship- then maybe you two can keep in touch via the cell phone and or Internet. If the relationship is meant to happen then it will. My feeling is that the two of you just met, hit it off really well and felt really good about each others company. As you probably have figured out by now, relationships, especially boyfriend and girlfriend ones, grow over time not just from a vacation. You will find throughout your whole life that some of the choices you make may be unpopular at times and seem mean. In in the long run, though, they are wise and exactly the right one.

Not wrong......Not mean, and do NOT feel guilty.
You were honest. HOOOORAAAY 4 U! And he should have the good sense to know why you turned him down.
You can communicate with each other. But not being committed to each other is fine. And you both should understand that. Sometimes the best things occur as the result of a strong friendship!

Well hon, it's the only thing you could have done. Because far away relationships do NOT work out very well.

no. it's the right thing to do. how are you ever going to see him? how are you ever going to have a real relationship? if you try, it's only doomed to fail.
