Have gone out with this gal for three months. A strong relationship, but nothing discussed about paying for phone bills. Girl friends insists that we talk each day and for long periods of time. I feel she should know her peak times, and how many minutes she has left to use. What do you say.

Be cautious, sometimes the heart makes you do things that you normally wouldn't concider of doing. My advice is to tell her what's on your mind, honesty is an intregal part of a good relationship. If she can't accept your questions and concerns, you really need to reconcider the relationship.

My daughter would be punished by getting her phone taken away; for a while. It is obvious that they felt you had earned the reward of having a phone, but they gave you an inch and you took a mile. A cell phone is not a toy. Parents understand that teens need to socialize, but they need to learn responsibility. You crossed the limits and are finding out the consequences. No conversation is too important to talk about for hours. Remember when you didn't have a cell phone? You lived! Just remember that they are teaching you to be responsible.

I think its silly of her to ask you, and greedy. Its only 3 months. Its her choice to call you! What is wrong with a regular old phone? You shouldn't have to support her phone habit. And yes, she should be adult enough to use her phone responsibly. If she cannot handle her own bills, you might want to reconsider dating her. You are her boyfriend, not her sugar daddy!

If she was my girlfriend I would tell her to get on a different or possibly even better phone plan or even phone provider. I mean you arn't using one of her phones right? If she doesn't like that idea and starts getting angry about it. Tell her to stick that phone up her A*@ and see if it fits.
