Definitely - people will judge your teeth for the rest of your life. They are your smile and make your face. If you feel you need one, then do it ...
Yes, you can get 'invisible' braces, depending on what it is you need fixing. They're very expensive though ...

YES, i hated my teeth for years then i had a brace fitted when i was 14 and had it removed last christmas (had it for almost 18 mnths). It really boosts your confidence belive me i can't stop smiling now and i nver used to cos i used to get picked on. one thing tho, after they remove the brace you have to wear a plastic retainer that is moulded to the exact shape of your teeth to keep em in place acos apparantly if you dont wear one every night for the rest of your life, the teeth will slowly return back to a horrid state, they also need replacing evry 4 years costing 50 quid each for the top and bottom set but apart from that getting a brace is a fab idea- don't leave it any longer or you'll have to start paying for the treatment.

I get such a "gut" YES! on this you wouldn't believe. You will have to "lean into it" to make it happen. You may even have to drag yourself to the dentist's office to get it started, but the results and the outcome to and for who you are for the rest of your life will bear rewards too numerous to list here. Also, by walking right up to this one and walking right straight through it you are going to feel something else: a gigantic weight will be lifted off your shoulders, because you will be doing something you have wanted to do for awhile. It will take your self-esteem (how you feel about yourself) and send it skyward. Trust me on this one... make an appointment with your dentist for right after lunch, or right after school, and get this procedure started and finished. You will also be well advised to have him explain the whole thing to you so if you ever meet someone else in your life later on down the line who is where you are right now, you will be able to lovingly extend a hand to help that person because you will have talked the talk and walked the walk. Not only will you have a great smile, but if you meet anyone who needs this boost as well, you can advocate for that person and help him deal with it. I wish you all the success in the world with this one, and I wish I could be a fly on the wall then you see the final results. You are going to have such a great smile - !!! Good luck to you and have a great sunmmer. Best from - G. in South Portland, Maine, U>S>A>

If your teeth arent all that bad, you can try the invisalign. It is completely clear, so no one will ever even know you have it. If this is not an option for you, traditional braces also come in a ceramic, tooth color that is less noticeable. If it really bothers you that bad, you should do it. Just remember that braces are usually a 2 to5 year commitment or more.

You can get a white one but they don't like giving them out, unless you are well rich and can afford to have the treatment privately. If you don't do it now you will regret it forever. I was 18 when I had a fixed brace and it was only on for 9 months. It will go quickly and you will not stop smiling when it comes off. Stop thinking about it and just do it.

Go with what your dentist says. If he says theyre fine, trust him. If he thinks you'd benefit from having braces, trust him!! I had braces when i was 15 for 2 years. I didnt think my teeth were that bad, they didnt hurt etc. But they are so much better now, and its made it easier for my wisdom teeth to come through.

yeah some braces only last for a year! and if yu dont feel confident then go for it but ask your dentist how long he thinks you will have to have them before you go ahead! also whilst you are still at college they are free on the nhs but when you turn 18 you will have to pay. hope this helps :o)

Yes, you should because you may feel silly now, but not when you're 25 and still don't feel right about smiling, boys will think "Why doesn't she smile, she doesn't seem happy" better to do it now and look lovely later!
Good look x
