Eat more protein, since hair is really strands of dead protein, increasing your protein levels will make it come out faster.

Try this, it really works for me. What I do is throw my head forward, take a detangling comb or even a brush much like they use for dogs..so that the hair doesn't tangle, and brush or comb forward.....what you are doing here is stimulating the hair follicles and what you will find is this...that within a day..your hair will seem that it needs to be washed. Don't sorry...it's good to allow the hair to buildup the sebaceous oils from your hair....if you can allow it to go for three days ...even four...then use a clarifying shampoo....one that removes the residue of the body's natural oils...it isn't just sweat... it is important to know that your hair has a buildup of sebum...hence the term sebaceous glands. Trust me here, my hair had been burned accidentally with a candle, giving me third degree burns...I didn't know if it would even grow back where it had been badly burned tothe scalp....i continued with this...now 5 years ago...and my hair is healthy...what I have recommended I do..and it is long again.
Also...try stimulating yourscalp perhaps with another person massaging it...as well use the brush indicated...that will NOT yank our your hair....RELAX and be sure to not allow it to get too dry.... as that is a culprit of split ends therein stripping the hair.
A "tiny' trim every two months..NOT 6 weeks will allow the hair to not further split and if you can put it up at night, theen do so, also stimulating he scalp...my hair ended up down the middle of my back and I was shocked. I thank my lucky stars for having a friend who worked in a salon give me these helpful hints....they work!
Eat well, and make sure you exercize......allow your self to be in the sun as there are vitamins from there as well as your dietary regimen and perhaps decision to take supplements.

Take a shower everyday using shampoo and conditioner with a very good amount of protein. You should also go out of the house when the sun is out and and it's warm outside. the sun has nutrients and it'll make ur hair grow and soft and silky.

You can make your hair be stronger, but you can't make it grow faster. Try protein and gelatin capsules and healthy foods for thicker, stronger hair. And be sure to use oil after shampooing.

Use a deep conditioner, but only once a month. If you condition to much it will damage your hair. I used to work at a beauty supply store, I learned a lot.
