In the bible people did as the lord command them to do. It was a different age and time then. God no longer speaks to us except to our hearts. I do not like war of any kind because the result is always death and grief. However, at times war is going to happen because Americans are hated by everyone, even though we are always the one helping out other countries, coming to their aide in times of great despair and natural disasters, giving them food, shelter, medical equipment, money, education etc.....I think its unfair to say Christians somehow justify war. We put are faith in God and pray for the best outcome. No one wants to see a war or death. However America needs to let people know we are not going to be pushed around by terrorist and those guys believe that their God is telling them to kill. Which it's not God at all. Man makes the decisions now to go to war by their actions not God. But to me it is ungodly to sit back and watch a man, kill, rape, torture and kill his own people for his own power and selfish desires.

Because sometimes war is necessary and unavoidable. For Christians who don't think it is, I would suggest reading the Old Testament. If the US didn't get involved in the Pacific and European fronts during WW2, where would we be today? So yes sometimes war is necessary and unavoidable. And yes I am proud and honored to say that I am a Christian born-again in the blood of Christ!

Wars are often justified. The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor when we were at pease with them. They said that the pease treaty would be signed in Washington. They intended to own America. Were we justified in fighting them ?
Hitler said," Heute gehert uns Deutshland, morgan die ganse Welt". ( today Germany belongs to us, tomorrow the whole world) Do you believe that we should have defended ourselved ?
England said what's the use of having colonies if you don't use them to make yourselves rich ? Was war justified ?
Muslim creeps financed and trained in Iraq did billions of dollars of damage and thousands of murders. Do you think we should have done nothing about it, asking for much more of the same ?
Who cares what people who lived thousands of years ago would think ?They didn't experience any of the above.

Christians are at war every day, we know the outcome. If there is evil then there is going to be war.

It was merely part of being loyal to your government, and like rain or hail, just a part of life they had to deal with.
