Sparkling cider is a non-alcoholic beverage made from apples and served to people either under age or for those that don't drink alcohol. They usually serve them at the same time so everyone feels included since champagne is usually served to celebrate an occasion and only drank in low moderation. Champagne is produced from grapes grown in a region in France, other wise it's not Champagne. First California started producing a "sparkling white wine" they called Champagne with other wine producing states and countries following but this is a deception. Only France can make Champagne.

Champagne is a sparkling wine that is made in the Champagne region of France, hence the name. It is alcoholic.

Then there is sparkling wine. This is what all other wines should be called (although here in America..we tend to call all sparkling wines Champagne, which is incorrect). This is something similar to a Moet, or Mumm type of sparkling wine. This is also alcoholic.

Sparkling cider is the stuff that is basically just sparkling apple juice..or a carbonated cider. It is NON-Alcoholic so safe to give for kids, or people who do not drink...in order to celebrate.

I think sparkling cider is carbonated, but no alcohol. Champagne tastes wonderful and makes you say things that you wish you had kept to yourself later! :)

Same difference as between a corvette and a yugo. Champagne is the real deal (produced in the region of France it's called after).

There is not any change! All glowing wines from the area in France, Champagne, are known as Champagne. If a glowing wine does now not come from the area Champagne you then need to name it glowing wine

one has alcohol, the other doesn't. Sparkling cider is often called, "with out". One is made with grapes like wine is, the other with apples.www.tonyaldi.com/wine/howtomakewine.htm
