do many of the places (homes, restuarants, stores) in guadeloupe have air conditioning?

I come from Guadeloupe and I can tell you that you can't expect AC as in most places in the States, but ALL vacation lodgings have AC, malls ave AC, restaurants usually have huge fans which are more comfortable than AC to eat outside..
Clubs also all have AC.
