Should she be wearing something to match up to like the girls standing up or maybe the brides mother or something else?

She wants to make sure she isn't clashing with the brides's mother, or the bridesmaids. She could wear something that compliments the wedding colors, but shouldn't be the same color as the bridemaids's gowns.

She should wear what she wants But to the standards of the wedding. She will be in the eye of the crowd too so let her stand out among them. Her Baby Boy is getting married.

She doesn't need to match any of the bridesmaids, but it would be worth checking what the mother of ther bride is wearing. They won't want to be wearing the same outfit - and they shouldn't clash either

Generally speaking the bride determines what the mothers wear, usually they are wearing complimentary colored and styled dresses, but it is all up to you, it is your wedding day and it should be however you want it to be.

I would wear something that goes nicely with the wedding colours so that you don't clash for picture purposes.

Maybe wear the same color as the bridesmaides, but not the same dress. The pictues will look great.
