I'm frankly sick of hearing about God Schmod and Jesus Weesus, it just becomes like a scratched record or a whole lot of insane drunken parrots constantly saying these mind-numbing names.

I have a naturalistic world-view, no human has or can have any knowledge of what is outside of nature, the supernatural is meaningless.

Its easy for anyone with any sense at all to see how the "Bible" has been used as a social manipulation tool for the last 2 millenia. There is no reason to fear any being called God, because even if it does exist he isnt interested in human opinion in the least. "Faith" is probably the biggest fallacy of all. "Just believe it cuz we told you to" is basically what theyre saying. Its intellectually infuriating.

Dont let this get you down, but at the same time there is no need to cause others to lose their faith (no matter how false it is, for some that faith is all they have and thier lives would crumble without it).

There is nothing wrong with being an athiest. Its the athiests that like to push their opinions on others that are wrong. Same with the Christians/Muslims/Jews that want to convert the planet involuntarily. They suck too.

Well really, it's not much of a question if you only want to get the answers that agree with you.

I believe. I believe that God is a genderless energy force that comprises ALL of life.

I also believe that the original Bible is a grossly misinterpeted text which has been manipulated by early organized religious leaders to promote their own patriarchal agenda to control the masses and suppress the role of women in society and spirituality.

I believe that we should not take anything we are told at face value. We should continually study and ask questions and question everything. From there, we should take what serves us and rings true in our hearts and leave the rest.

I believe that each of us is a powerful creator who creates our own reality and brings our experiences to ourselves with the power of our thoughts, beliefs, words and actions.

But, God is real. Just not as the old man with the flowing grey beard sitting in a throne in some heaven in the sky judging us. God is within us and loves us. God is all-loving. God is LIFE.

You know, it's possible to have faith in things other than a god. Even as an atheist, I believe, for example, in humanity. I believe that humanity has the right and the power to conquer the universe, I believe that humans are essentially good people, etc. My beliefs are extrapolations of my studies in the social sciences and personal experiences, but are still constituted largely of faith. Other people believe in good and bad luck, while yet others believe that they're freaking awesome. You can still believe in material things.

But yeah, I agree about the Bible. And I wouldn't want it any other way (but that topic's for a different question).

I don't believe in the bible but I believe in a conscious energy that makes up all living things. I answered this question because you said no believers! I'm rude like that.I believe and yet I didn't go for the overkill or push my religion or quote anything from the many holy text that I have read. Mostly because I can't and because I don't think it works that way.

God is real, and im sorry you feel that way. the world has gotten to you. and the bible is devine, that why there is so much clarity and cohesiveness in all the stories, written in many different languages and countries over a period of hundreds of years. there is no other way that could happen and be even remotely put together in a book.

I believe in God and if you're going to state your opinions on here you need to be prepared for people who's opinions differ from yours to speak up too. So I don't agree with you and I am very sorry that you haven't found the peace that only God can bring to you. And you only need the faith of a teeny, tiny, little, itty-bitty mustard seed.

The existence of things that have existence is not questioned.

The fact that people ask questions about the existence of God is proof he does not exist.

Roman Emperor Constantine authorized a council to select certain scrolls and put them into a book to support his brand new universal religion. Before 325 CE (ad) there was no "book." (bible)

I question the belief of anything I cannot see, touch, hear, smell or taste. And since the bible was written by human beings over an extended period of time, and since humans make mistakes, I also question the validity of the bible. But the bigger question is: why do you need me to validate your beliefs?
