I believe Insecure men prefer submissive women. My take on this is they feel they have no control over their own lives and no sense of personal power. They boost their egos by dominating a female.

A man secure in his place in this world has no need to dominate a woman. In fact he would weary of a submissive woman, no challenge. After all, life is an adventure.
