He drove along a street , the street lights were'nt on, his car headlamps did'nt work, a black dog walked infront of him and he managed to avoid hitting the dog by hitting the car bakes, how did he see the dog?

People say it was daytime, but I saw the incident myself, it did happen at night.
In fact, by the time he hit the brakes he had already hit a cat, three small children, a man dressed as a pirate and a dustbin. The dog was pretty lucky he didn't get it too- the driver didn't actually see it, but he finally had sense enough to hit the brakes when he heard me shouting at him to stop.Tragic...

Even though the dog is black and it was dark he still would have stood out a little, he wouldnt have been invisible
