I say buy a diffuser for your hair dryer. Put mouse in your hair when it's wet, then use the diffuser while you dry it. You'll have to turn your head upside down and move the diffuser in up and down motions to add spring to those curls.
I have a similar problem with my hair.
Email me if you don't get what I'm saying and I'll explain it.
Good Luck!

Get a perm. You will have control over your hair then. If you want something less permanent then try hot rollers or a curling iron. But remeber with the rollers and curling iron to start at the top of your hair and work your way down. Trust me a perm is the way to go. I promise you.

Try Curls Rock Amplifier by Catwalk--it comes in a bright blue container. They make a whole line of products like shampoo, conditioner, spray gel and booster, but it's the amplifier that works best. You can buy it at a salon or beauty supply store or online or on EBay. It's not cheap but it worked for me when nothing else did.

i recommend going to a good salon and getting a perm perms today are so much less harsh and damaging to your hair as using a curling iron every day but if you choose to use an iron use one with a larger barrel for loose curls and do not use full heat

try matt gum. It controls curl and wavy hair very well. All you need to do is scoop out a small amount out with the fingertips and massage between the palms. When styling, rub it in, stand it up, or smooth it down – your choice!

I would use a curling mousse like tresseme. My hair is like that sometimes, not all. when i use tresseme curling mousse it makes my curls really tight and not frizzy or nothing. It really helps. hope this works. Also after applying the mousse, then use some type of hairspray to keep it nice so they won't become flat. Apply the mousse by scrunching it. It will become so pretty!!!!:)

I have the same type of hair....except most of the type its wavy...When im in the curly mood what i do is...wash my hair, and brush it as soon as i get out of the shower, make sure to get all nots out and dont brush it any more. Get the ausi sprunching spray and some gel put gel on ur hair (while its soaking wet) make sure to get in everywere then start scrunching ur hair spray ur hair with the spray and leave it,don't brush it or anything! as it dries you wont be able to feel the gel or spray any more but it will be curly.

You could get a perm or just put your hair in rollers every day or invest in a curling iron.
