I love John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioning treatment. It's fairly inexpensive ($4.99 on sale) and you should be able to find it at your local drugstore. I know that there are home recipes you can use, but I really like this product and it's convenient.

I do this every week:

1. Use a clarifying shampoo to wash your hair. This removes any excess buildup from products you may have used.
2. Towel dry hair, comb it out and apply Miraculous Recovery
3. Wrap hair in plastic wrap and then a warm towel. This keeps the warmth going while the deep conditioner is working.
4. Set your timer for 20-30 minutes (depending on the condition of your hair)
5. Rinse thoroughly

My hair is really soft and bouncy after this treatment!

Olive oil is good. Coat your hair with it and use saran wrap and leave it on for as long as you want. It will make it shiny and healthier.
