When people are in High School to Collage there are always kids that get drugs and have other kids try them because they think that the kids who have drugs are "cool". After they have drugs and like them because they are giving more to to stay awake to study for a test etc. and then take it the next day and not fell tired. Although they know that's its wrong at this point they have become addicted. They need it more and more and more or they cant survive. The eventually must go into rehab because there life depends on it. I would not recommend using drug under any time or anything unless its recommends by a doctor.

to feel better. sometimes it's simple, like a prescription from a doctor or an over the counter pain med.

Emotionally, they relive anxiety. Not so much escaping reality, but making reality a little more tolorable. And they're effective...for a while.

In fact, if you watch an hour or so of television, you'll see at least one or two commercials advertising the latest drug to help you cope with life.

Too many people feel they should be happy all the time, and when they're not, they want something FAST AND EASY to change the way they feel.

And that's why, good or bad, people use drugs

There are lots of reasons for drug use.
Some are unable to cope with everyday life and need to escape.
Others like the feelings and sensations.
Curiousity will cause a large number to try them.
For others peer pressure can be a major factor.
And for a fair amount of the various drugs, addictions come into play as well.

well..it depends what kind of drugs ur talking about, if it's normal medicine that's prescribed from a doctor, people use it to get better and not be sick. But if you're talking about the kinds of drugs like weed and cocaine and stuff like that..it's mostly because they get pressured to do it by their friends and then they get addicted to it and can't stop doing it and when they don't have enough money to buy from a drug dealer...it leads them into stealing. THANK GOD i don't do drugs and hope i never will :)

because they have live something bad,or they have been influenced, or want to be treated as more than an adult than a child or is suffering from life or haven't been teached what is good or bad . Drugs is the only thing that keep them lead a better life.

To either make themselves feel better, cooler (not really and don't try it!), escape reality, or to spoil their minds and lives.

That was the bad abuse part. The other part about drugs is to help you or cure you. OTCs can help you in some cases. Other drugs, such as prescription should only be prescribed by your own doctor and by what they say. Use what they say, but don't try and kill yourself to make homicide or suicide.

1st time, ppl mostly try drugs purely out of curiosity, then find out that it feels good to get high. Then ppl use it again, and get addicted to drugs.

Some use drugs to escape from reality, and whatever the reason is, they ruin their lives.......
