I recently stocked my pond with these species (all under 3") - how quickly will each grow, and when will they begin to spawn? Surprisingly, it is hard to find this information on the net.

I also stocked the pond with a few thousand fathead minnows and golden shiners for forage.

I have not yet added the big mouth bass -- I am waiting for the smaller species to become more established. Any suggestions on when I should be able to stock the bass?

You have asked a question that has alot of variables... location, temperature, vegetation, water clarity, size of the body of water and the amount of food available. Catfish generally grow at rates of 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per year... panfish can grow up to 1 pound per year but are limited by the number of fish present and the size of the body of water and lastly thier species. Largemouth bass (non-hybrid) can grow up to 1 1/2 pounds per year if a good food source is available.

You can expect the catfish to grow about 1lb. a year. The panfish will grow fast. The bass will grow about the same rate as catfish. Just don't overstock your pond, you will end up with a lot of skinny little fish.
