When you make a bad tee shot and want to toss your 3 iron is it better for effect to throw overhand or sidearm

I always found that it was better not to throw the club. I have seen too many rebound accidents. I much rather prefer to grasp the club firmly with both hands, and raise it above my head like a Broadsword, and then bring it down quickly and with great force. This will allow you to strike the heel of the club directly on the point such that you get a good clean break on the hozzle of the club, effectively snapping the clubhead off the shaft!

Try it, you'll feel great for all of two or three holes, till you need it on that next par five.

I can't remember the last time I hit a tee shot with a 3 iron. I would only punish the cause of the problem, which would be me for hitting the iron.

I suggest you throw is over hand and try to bounce it off the ground end to end in stead of the so called helicopter

it depends how far the green is and how straight you can throw, it would probably be better overhand and go to the driving range after that to start practicing your swing

i use the 7 iron and putter, plus i really golf to get a tan and have fun-i kick my clubs, not a tosser. just make sure u don't hit someone-OR spill a beer
