It depends on the vet. Some have a pretty standard rate, some go by weight. Call around and get some idea. Also check to see what they require in addition. Some want to see the dog first and have all the vaccines up to date. That can add to the cost if those things are not done yet.

On the high end I would say somewhere around 60 for the actual fixing shots some where between 30 and 50 depending on the vet. I havce a female shepherd full grown that is gonna cost me 85 to get her spayed males are generally a little cheaper. and youhave a much smaller dog... my price quote is from sw mo so california or the east coast i am sure it will be higher.

If you go to a animal shelter and tell them you want to fix your dog they may give you a free gift card to get them fixed. It's so important to do that. It may be alot of money but think.. Your dog can get about 4 dogs pregnant and they have a litter of 8 puppy's each 8x4=32 dogs ! Then all of those dogs have babies and then these dogs have baby's... well you get the point theres about 40,000 dogs a year with no homes so plz don't do that because i know that you don'tknow 40,000 ppl that want a dog so help the world and little puppy's get your dog fixed plz!

My vet charges for less than 20 pounds $110 for neutering and $85 for spaying. I just spent (on Friday) $180 for fix, shots, microchip, worming and exam.

However, if cost is an issue, contact your local humane society. They usually have reasonable rates and will neuter/spay a dog, update shots, and mircrochip for one price.
