It sounds like he has a lot of issues for a 4 yr old. I suggest you run to the nearest mental health center and get your kid some therapy. He may have been abused and be acting out, or there may be something going on at daycare(if he goes) that is really upsetting him. You need to find out NOW what that is and get it taken care of. GOODLUCK!!

If you put him 2 bed early, maybe consider, putting him to bed a little later. Sounds like he has lots of energy, maybe u could take him to a play ground where he could get some exercise.
Next time he runs away, u should run after him, so that he doesn't get kidnapped, or get hurt.
U should also teach him that that is not okay to do. Explain to him what an happen to a little boy who is all alone. (like getting kidnapped and such). Tell him how scared you get when he does that. It sounds like he will be starting school soon, it is important for him not 2 do that in school, he could get in trouble.
Good luck. :)

He may have ADHD. Have him tested by your pediatrician. You say he has lots of anger. Have you asked him what he's mad about? When my son was 2 I had to go to the hospital for 10 days. He was VERY angry when I came home. I finally asked him if he was mad at me. He said, "I'm not 'posed to be mad". I told him it was OK to be mad, but we needed to talk about it. We did and after I explained I didn't want to leave him, but had to and would ALWAYS come back, he got over it. Let him express his feelings without fear of reprisal or punishment. You might be surprised at what you learn! Good luck.

I think he has to much energy. I babysit a 4 year old and he only wants to play, just set a time for him to play and spend time with him watching a movie or reading a story.

Attention Disorder maybe? Does the kid have both parents at home with him? Does he have a step-dad? or step-mom? Is he happy most of the time? If things are ok at home then maybe he is just adventurous and curious about all the surroundings and wants to learn everything. I hope he is ok. (smile)

He could have some sort of problem. Sometimes if a child sees something that they shouldn't have, whether it's in reality or on tv, it can affect them for awhile. He might be scared of it and trying to get away. It could even have something to do with you. Maybe if you tried talking to him, you might get some answers.

Beat his butt! A spanking does the trick and saves you thousands of dollars on a million and diagnosesis. Children do what you let them do....if spanking doesn't straighten him up...find a man to do it...and if that doesn't work...then consult your family doctor (smile)

You need to get him some counseling. It sounds like he's got some pretty big issues that are larger and more serious than you can handle alone.
