not nessecarily. as individuals, the way we are treated provokes us to respond a certain way. the woman he's with now may not treat him the same way you do, and it may provoke him to respond a different way. while it is in his nature to be the person he was with you, and his responses weren't usually logical, the other woman may treat him in a way that he will respond to in a less volitile way. this just means that maybe you were too nice, or too loving for him, and it made him freak. He might treat her the same way because that's all he knows, but that isn't the only possibility. wish him luck, and maybe warn her gently. all you can do then is hope he's happy.

Please rememer that humans are dynamic. Relationships are like a soup, depending what you put in determines the flavour. Unless the new partner is a carbon copy of you, then chances are it might be the same. And chances are, that carbon copy, due to difference in time and circumstance, still will have a different relationship than you had with him.

not necessarily...people do change...my boyfriend of 8 years. yes I know you are thinking because he is mine I will say anything. But really I would not of wanted to know him 15 years ago. Complete *******. Treated people like sh** His first wife (who I like a great deal, and speak to often) his other girlfriends. But he did change. It is possible. He is a different person now...to everyone.
