Or, just the fact that you are American makes it easy. We have been married for 4yrs. My husband is doing the paperwork now after he has been approved. But, we are confused. I am his only immediate relative who is American citizen and I don't have 3yrs. of tax receipts to prove I can be his sponsor. Only, that I am American. He had graduated from WVU with masters degree in Business and Finance and Bachelors in accounting. So, I think he is highly marketable as a contributor to the American economy and loves America.

I had a friend in the same situation ... and she had to prove financial eligibility ... her husband was from Scotland, and it all ended up with the two of them having to move there ... he had a degree like your husband, but nothing helped ... makes me see red, when you think about all the millions of people just clomping in over the southern border with their demands .... I think it also depends to a large extent on where you will be interviewed ... seems the immigration officers can make a diffrence if they want to ....
