I wouldn't let just any guy babysit my daughter, but there are plenty of nice, decent males in the world, and it's a shame that people have to think that way. Girls around 7 are easy to babysit. They will tell you what they want to do usually. They love to play games, barbies, color, paint, do crafts, make bead neclaces, make forts from kitchen chairs and blankets. If you give them an idea they'll usually run with it, if it interests them. Just make sure they have the basics, like lunch, and dinner,and some snacks in between.

Also girls usually like to bake and cook, even if its something strange, they can make it up as they go along, even if it doesn't come out edible.

If you run out of ideas, find a movie that they like.

first of all i would like to say that i have three kids, two of which are girls, and one of their favorite babysitters is a boy. There is nothing wrong with a male babysitter. That said, girls that age are easy to sit for, just ask them what they feel like doing, within the guidelines of the parents rules.
