. Zephaniah 3:14-18 (perhaps Post-Exilic additions? after 537 BCE) The Lord has taken away the judgments against you. You shall fear evil no more. "Do not fear, O Zion!" The Lord shall dance in your midst while singing.
(Zephaniah was evidently born during the latter part of King Manasseh's reign (695 - 642 BC). (Expanded Open Bible). See II Kings 21:1-18 and II Chronicles 33:1-20 for the nature of this king's reign.)
Yes, also read "Embraced by the Light" an modern-day near-death experience written down by a woman who relates a very heartening description of heaven.
All the worlds of God can be visited at the mere thought of it. We travel so fast and so far, I believe that we can pretty much go anywhere and do anything. There are libraries of every kind of knowledge, there are places where clothes are made and food is cooked. There are gardens to be in and cultivate, but we apprecitate this all with senses that are infinitely more sensitive than the ones we have here on earth.
But the most important thing of all about heaven, is that God is there, a being so wondrous and loving that we are at once drawn to him and he to us.
It is indeed, a place worthy of all the agonies and tears we shed here. So I encourage you all to be good and do your best

How do you know that heaven even exists? Have you ever met someone who's been there and returned? How do you know heaven isn't really some made up place (made up by the devil) so more people WANT to go to heaven but really wind up in hell?
And don't say "the bible tells me so" because quoting from the bible doesn't prove anything if someone doesn't believe in the bible in the first place. And I don't believe in the bible. So convince me there really is a heaven. Or a hell.

First of all, THERE IS NO AFTERLIFE, this is the only one you get. When you die you DO NOT go to either heaven or hell. You go into the grave. At the second coming of Christ the saints are taken to heaven and the sinners are left here to rot were they fell, until one thousand years have passed, during which time we will be confirming the judgments of both God and Jesus. At then of the 1,000 years we and all of heaven will come down to the earth, (the devil will be released from his bondage and will again temp the lost) the sinners will be raised from the dead , Satan will convince them that they can take the city NEW JERUSALEM, they will surround it, at witch time they will receive their judgment (both satanic, and human). God will remake the earth, wipe out tears, and our memories, and we will be happy forever. Oh, by the way, encase you were wondering, when evil receives its punishment, the earth will become a molten ball, fire will come out of you, and you will be destroyed, not only your body, but also the very breath of life which God gave to you, and also the very memory of you will be destroyed. Doom, an Gloom? Not for the saved!

Hmm, you can read more about it in the Koran (the Islam book) in a couple of chapters. But in few words, Heaven is a place where good people go for eternity, and Hell is where bad people go. God, at Judgement Day (which noone really knows when will it be exactly) will begin the process of assessment of all human beings. People who are judged bad by God will be sent to Hell for eternity (unless forgiven later), and good people will be sent to Heaven for eternity. Hell is described as a real scary place. Heaven is something very extraordinary - a paradise. It is said that there are rivers of honey, and rivers everywhere; trees which are so huge that their shade can reach up to many miles; people will be dressed up in clothes of silk, etc. Hope this helps. Read more about it in Koran.

the bible does not promise heaven for us but it does promise something much much better. lets blow the dust off of our bibles and read: Isaiah 2:2 Mich 4:4 Rev. 21 Rev. 3:12 Rev.5:10 Rev.15:4 Isaiah11:16 Isaiah 61:6
Zec.14:4
Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

When you dance in joy, you feel you are in heaven on earth itself. And when you feel frustration, sadness and entangled in problems, you feel if you are in hell. No heaven or hell exists. Every body talks about heaven and hell, but, nobody, even the priests, pastors or pope, have seen heaven or hell. This earth is heaven for some, while hell for the others depending upon the circumstances of joys or sorrows of life of each individuals.

I believe Heaven is a very limiting and limited concept of an afterlife. The afterlife is filled with spheres (7) of progress and all spirit go to where their light allows them to progress. All is progress...as we learn in earth life, so above. Be prepared to progress and grow in spirituality. BTW if you want to dance, do it.
