1. Have a positive attitude, no matter what, everyone goes thru hard times. What defines us is how we handle those trying time.
True character is built on hard times.
2. Exercise. It clears the mind and promotes good health. Something as simple as a daily walk does wonders for your mental health.
3. Adopt a pet. I know it isn't always possible but it you can, do it. Studies show that owning a pet reducing a lot stress! Pets will always be there for you and love you unconditionally!
4. Have a support of people around you. Isolation can lead to depression, a major mental illness in this country. Not everyone has family around for that. Go out and make friends with similar interests as yourself!
5. For me the most important is having faith. Something to believe in, a higher being. Seeking him during difficult times gives you hope for a better tomorrow. Hope this helps.
