Read below and see more info on scabies:
Scabies is an infestation of the skin with the microscopic mite Sarcoptes scabei. Infestation is common, found worldwide, and affects people of all races and social classes. Scabies spreads rapidly under crowded conditions where there is frequent skin-to-skin contact between people, such as in hospitals, institutions, child-care facilities, and nursing homes.
What are the signs and symptoms of scabies infestation?
Pimple-like irritations, burrows or rash of the skin, especially the webbing between the fingers; the skin folds on the wrist, elbow, or knee; the penis, the breast, or shoulder blades.
Intense itching, especially at night and over most of the body.
Sores on the body caused by scratching. These sores can sometimes become infected with bacteria.
How did I get scabies?
By direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person already infested with scabies. Contact must be prolonged (a quick handshake or hug will usually not spread infestation). Infestation is easily spread to sexual partners and household members. Infestation may also occur by sharing clothing, towels, and bedding.
Who is at risk for severe infestation?
People with weakened immune systems and the elderly are at risk for a more severe form of scabies, called Norwegian or crusted scabies.
How long will mites live?
Once away from the human body, mites do not survive more than 48-72 hours. When living on a person, an adult female mite can live up to a month.

Is there some reason you believe you may have been exposed?? I can't really tell you if it's possible that you have a scabies infection. I know nothing about you or the people with whom you spend time. I think this may be just an aftereffect of the chicken pox. Pick up some 0.5% hydrocortisone cream and apply it to the affected areas twice a day for one week. Orally taken Benadryl can also help with the itching. "Sympotms of scabies and its treatment?" -- The symptoms are a red, raised rash. Firm nodules that may blister and/or scab surrounded by reddened skin. Often the nodules are roughly in a line with a path of redness connecting the nodules. This is the trail of a female mite as she burrows under the skin. The itching is INTENSE and worse at night when the mites are more active. The treatment is permethrin 5% cream (Elimite) and is by prescription only. The cream (an entire 60g tube) is one treatment) is applied after a shower from the neck down and remains for 12 hours (for best results) before being showered off. The home environment must be treated at the same time. It takes about 2 weeks for the rash and itching to clear up and if the infection is severe, the Elimite may be repeated a second time 2 weeks later.

I had an experience with scabies when my son was 9 months old. (he is 19 now)
My nephew had brought a sleeping bag back from camping and they were in it and of course traveled throughout all of my family. What you do is go to doctor (or if you have a close contact with your own get him to call you some in) and get a lotion called "kwell" or it comes in a shampoo too for like lice.
Use the medicine and also "wash everything", i mean "everything". bed linens, to curtains, to everything!.
It is very contagious and you will not get rid of it unless you stay on top of it...but also, make sure anyone that has been in your house has the knowledge of them. That way they can also be treated if the first sign shows up.
Scabies are very microscopic bugs that just get under the skin, (kinda like a chigger) but scabies are 100 times worst. They will make you cry from itching so bad. I would also get some calamine lotion to help with itching along with maybe benadril.
Good luck my friend and also...try not to scratch!, cause this is what spreads them. Use a throw away towelette to scratch with. and don't scratch just rub lightly it will feel better. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

scabies is tiny creatures that burrow in the skin just below the surface in the"inbetweens" of the fingers and toes.....intence itching.......your doctor will prescribe a lotion/medication and possible an antibiotic is severe enough that the doctor feels it could be more of an infection.........
highly contagious between family members....or even at school...........need to see a dr. and no sharing of bath towels

Go to a doctor and get a prescription medication. When I was younger, there was an epidemic at my high school. It's nasty and itchy. Go get some good stuff to get rid of it.
