Communicate with them and cherish every word and exchange!
Could be e-mail, telephone, chat, whatever.
If things work out well with that special friend, then you have a lot of fond memories of such communications to share in your old age.

It's good to write down your feelings on a daily basis, then you can go back and read them. I find this very useful, when I'm missing someone. I hope it gets better for you.

It's too difficult to tolerate the stage, nothing to do but you should accept the fact that is happening. Tell Just " Good Bye, see you in the future"

well, try to contact them, if it is not possible then analyze why you are feeling "sad" because you cant see them. Feeling sad is ok but sooner or later you just beat yourself up. Work on yourself that's the answer.
