If you live in Florida, you have to either turn in your tag and pay a reinstatement fee or purchase insurance, show proof of it and pay the reinstatement fee. The reinstatement fee is $150 for the first incidence, $250 for the second and $500 for the third.

Start by getting insurance, if the license is revoked only until you show proof of insurance. If the license was taken for a set time,ie...6 mo. wait it out ,then get things back together, the right way. Its never a smart idea to drive with-out insurance.
