The goal of my spirituality is to find the common truth that lies behind all the 'religions' of the world.
I believe that a spark of that truth lies in every human being and that it is my duty to acknowledge it and seek it out through their questions, their needs, and their own sharing of life with me.

The purpose of vaisnavism which is described as a branch of hinduism or the basis of hinduism, is to realise one's relationship with God.
The first thing to realise is that YOU are an eternal spiritual soul and not the material body you are currently experiencing.
Once you start understanding that the material body is just a temporary shell acquired according to your karma (actions / desires) and that it is, like everything else material, subject to destruction, whereas you, the eternal spiritual soul, cannot die nor harmed in any eay. Understanding this simple principle leads one onto understanding that nothing material will be able to give one any happiness since all material things are subject to destruction - therefore any happiness you think you enjoy is just fleeting and you will also experience unhappiness.
The second is to love God unconditionally and without any motivation for personal satisfaction.
There are a lot of other religions who profess love of God, in particular the Semitic (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) - but when you look deep down they only love themselves, their society or their country/nation. They fight over little bits of desert rather than thinking that the whole earth and universe is God's property freely given to us. They go around God for insignificant protection or benediction when they don't know what the result of such will be.

I don't believe in religion because it's man made, but I have faith in God, and I'm a spiritualist. I believe that purpose is to lead a good life, to give my love to all without asking anything in return, help as many as i can and to prove the existence of the spirit world, which I have done Lot's of times.
I spread the world of God only to those who want to hear, that means I don't preach, and never try to convert anybody, they do that on there own.
Love & Peace

i don't belive in god, hell or heaven but i do live like a baptist and a buddhist. I've been searchin for the perfect religion for quite some time now and i think this is it. The main goal is perfection, wisdom, wide-mindness, generosity, pureness, humbleness and modesty. It's basically all about fighting for your happines and happiness of the people you love no matter what anybody says but not hurting any one (mentally or phisically).

Matt.24:14-"This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth, for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
Matt.28:18,19-"Go therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptising them......"
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses,I take the commission of preaching and teaching as my prime responsibility.
The end of this system is fast approaching and there still many who are searching for bible truths and need to be found, and then when Jehovah is satisfied the work is accomplished.....the end will come.

My goal and purpose is to free myself from all bondage of religion (whether secular, material, traditional, etc) to be objective towards all information concerning the soul. Proof, isn't. To be astute is. And of course "Love is the principal thing in all". Thanks for the forum.

The purpose is to Please God and ultimately to be accepted into His Paradise and being able to see Him. I am talking about Islam here.
The Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him said: "O People, Feed (the needy), spread peace , and pray at night while people are asleep, and you will enter paradise in peace"
