I love whipped cream and those syrupy strawberries on top of a Belgian waffle. I'm not a big fan of regular french toast, but if it's the stuffed kind (like with cream cheese and everything), that's incredible! For pancakes, I love just butter and maple syrup, but I do love pecans inside of the pancakes. I'm so hungry now!!

Strawberries and whipped cream. Any berries and whipped cream. Syrup, the butter flavored stuff. Cinnamon and brown sugar, icing sugar. With waffles...bavarian cream sauce. It takes time but boy is it good.

while i became starting to be up, waffles curiously took a lot greater training, so as that they've been a rarer take care of (my mom made each and every thing from scratch)! Maple syrup became *continually* the syrup of determination, in view that some kinfolk pal or different there in NE Ohio continually had a sugar bush. on an identical time as little ones, my brother and that i tapped trees in our backyard and boiled down the sap on our mom's gas variety. because of the fact it demands 40 - fifty 5 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of maple syrup. you could think of the quantity of steam generated! even although we had 9 and one-0.5 ceilings, all that syrup production loosened the ceiling wallpaper! while my spouse and that i've got been first married, Aunt Jemima, Log Cabin and another brandname table syrups had 25% actual maple syrup! as quickly as we moved to rural SE Ohio, we had many sugar maple trees, a suitable outbuilding and a lot of our very own woodlands and forests to furnish firewood suitable for, no longer purely residing house heating, yet additionally making maple syrup! The "trick" in making the greater suitable gentle syrup demands by no ability letting the sap quiet down decrease than boiling from the time it is uncooked sap to the total product. in view that all the maple syrup we made at residing house became made on a small scale, it became regrettably continually very dark. even even though it nevertheless tasted like maple syrup! unfortunately, as an elderly, mildly obese, senior citizen with variety II diabetes, my waffle, pancake and French toast days are generally over, as is my intake of extreme-sugar syrups! yet I nevertheless have fond thoughts to cherish! they are able to't take that far off from me! Edit: To Tom T, shame on you to your public complaint of the precious woman asking this question! And, BTW, there *is* root beer syrup. it is used everywhere there continues to be a soda fountain which dispenses root beer and everywhere else root beer is sent by the cup!
