I'm a Christian and I don't consider myself to be any more arrogant than anyone else. I have an atheist friend that I would describe as over-the-top arrogant...because she's so desperate to get me and anyone else around her to think how she does. It's more like anger than arrogance, I guess, but I sense that from a lot of atheists at this site as well. But I don't know every Christian or every atheist. I'm sure that if we could round them all up (or at least get a large enough sample of them) we would find that the level of arrogance amongst each group is actually pretty similar.

I think it's the person that thinks he knows enough to group everyone under one category and label them that is arrogant. Such a bold word for such a broad group.
Why even ask a question if there really isn't an answer? Perhaps Yahoo needs a rhetorical questions section where the option to answer has been removed.

Why are you soooooooooo....intolerant?
However, there is one point you truly hit the nail on the head -- you are definitely brainless
Anyway, I wish you many many blessings this day.
and I hope one day you meet a true christian and become friends. There is no greater gift in this world than a friend who remembers your needs and wants in his/her prayers.

Well, thats a funny comment. I must agree some are very arrogant, Im not sure about athiests, I dunno any. I guess they feel as though they are better than non-believers in the fact that they are "saved" and going to heaven and in gods favore where as non-believers are not. And they think they have some sort of special priority with god. Im not sure why....LOL....

Some people fall into the trap of being proud because they feel they are right. That is always a mistake, even if you are right. In Christianity God will abase the proud (even if they claim to be Christian!)

Wow. What a generalization.
That's what I call arrogant, or have you met every Christian? And every atheist for that matter?

When someone knows the absolute truth and others want to do anything to avoid that truth, the one who knows that truth always appears arrogant to the ones avoiding that truth.
Does that make the ones avoiding that truth ignorant?

Am I arrogant? Well, I apologize then. I don't mean to be arrogant when I tell you that Jesus Christ died for your sins and you better accept Him before it is too late.
