Not working is not a absolute rule. The rule to love the others is the most important rule. So Christians help people who needs help.

Does this mean that EVERYTHING in the bible can be twisted to our needs?

I have found that theologians will twist the bible to whatever point they are trying to make. It's not too hard because there are many points that are self-contradicted by the bible itself. You can use the bible for almost any side of almost any argument.

You can always comment on othr people's answers in the 'add details' section available next to your original question. It's proper home is there - not on seperate questions that mention the people called name. This qualifies as abuse under the topic of 'insulting other participants' and 'chatting' and it is very bad form. If you ask a question, don't go harrassing whoever answers it or people will not answer you at all.

not really...i am a catholic and do believe the existince of god and the bible itself...but i dont consider myself to be tied on what the bible said..i pray, go to church andi still live my life the way i want it...we are only humans and prone to mistakes...we are living in a world that full of wants and needs...i do things to make my life meaningfull and colorfull as long as i dont reach the border line of my belief...as long as i odnt hurt anyone..asl ong as i am happy..happy in a way i am not stepping the others rights...so live your life the wya oyu want...help everyone in oyur own way..love everyone in accordance to their satisfaction..im not shy of telling at this age im vigrin coz i am accepting god"s body during mass...so anything i do with my body good or bad is the same as i am doing to god coz i accept christ body and he is in me..so i must respect his presence in me....maybe my answer kinda out of your query...hehehe
