Action is done by us and we only have to take the result. God or no one can between u, ur choices and what u do. U r the creator of ur life and ur destiny.
God’s Wisdom, Love and Power
People may wonder why, if God exists, He doesn’t wave a magic wand and fix things, making or at least influencing everyone so that they do exactly what they ‘should’ do. But God never takes away anyone’s freedom of choice. God’s wisdom is to recognize and respect each soul’s individual identity, freedom and inherent goodness. God shares knowledge – a profound understanding of the dualities and dilemmas of love and hatred, happiness and sorrow, victory and defeat, etc. – but He does not make our choices for us. The soul is free to choose ‘to be or not to be’, ‘to love or not to love’. God’s love strengthens the soul’s will to free itself from the distresses caused by vices such as selfish desire, anger, fear, ego and attachment. God’s power helps the soul to recognize its highest potential and to aim for perfection by practising the art of simple living and high thinking. Such practice by a significant number of souls eventually brings about positive change in the whole of humanity.
When you learn to tune your mind in meditation to the mind of God, then whatever the situation, you always have a source of help and strength to draw upon – an infinite reservoir of power and virtues that is only a thought away

We all have free will and freedom of personal choice. There IS no one to blame as it ultimately falls on us. Our actions are a result of our own choice, not anyone else's will. Trying to blame them on an act of god is a cop out.

Absolutley not. To say that the devil made me do it would be absurd. If we lose free will and choice and can blame God or your "others" we lose all responsibility. You have the choice, its only people's fault when things happen, good or bad. Yes I believe in miracles, and disasters (natural and otherwise), but I don't believe those things are to reward/punish us. I believe those things exist to install and confirm, or test and try our faith. Whatever doesn't kill us makes us stonger.

I live by God's will, but I have a choice to make if I want to do right or wrong, but I realize there are consequences to the choices I make, so if I choose to make a bad choice I can only shift the blame to myself....these are tests from heaven, the devil will consistently tempt us to do wrong, but wedon't have to follow through with it!!!!!!

No. Why God has to make choices for you? Besides, before you die, there is always a way to make up for your mistakes. Life is like a one big exam. You gotta learn the right stuff... and make sure one day you'll pass...

God can't give you any cheatsheet. He may teach you lessons though.

If you are living this life, taking responsibility for your own actions, why would anyone (even God) be responsible for your own personal choices? Its not about blame..choice is learning your own responsibility for self.

as a muslim we are taught that all of our deeds are by our own hands. basically we are to be held accountable for what we do. this is evident in this life by the way we live. you commit the crime you pay the time. it is our job as human beings to over come temptation.others are not to be held accountable for what you do. as a muslim we know that just because we believe in allah and all of allah's messengers does not buy us salvation. what buys us salvation is if we do the best we can to follow the five pillars of islam and truly repent to the one and only god. (allah) there is a difference in believing something and then following it. if u truly believe in something but yet you fail to follow it that was your free will to ignore the clear signs given to you. example we believe in the prophet muhammud. we believe he was the perfect role model for islam so if we believed it and did not follow the examples he set forth out of life then how are we to say we truly believed in the way of life he displayed? god gives us life what we choose to do with it is all up to us. if you live surrounded by people who do not have the same faith as you and you are tempted to do harram (sins) you have a choice remain there or leave. so there for in EVERYTHING freewill is soley on us. it is up to us to find what is the truth and follow it.

Or shift the blame from your God?

2006-06-11 02:18:23 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

God has nothing to with it, as there is no God.

Everyone has free will and is responsible for his/her own actions.
