I am a tall (6"1') but slender all-around athlete. How is it that I weigh around 170 lbs? Also despite my tall but slender body frame I find that I can out muscle my other teammates that are more muscular looking with ease when wrestleing? I can also hit the baseball much farther and I can throw the ball much harder. How is this possible?

Your arms might be longer and may give you a mechanical advantage over people with shorter levers.

Well I know exactly what you are talking about! My Boy Friend is 6' 2 and weighs 170 pounds, so he most definantly will look skinnier than you. He has tried to bulk up, but it doesn't work, he is the best in everything he does, but he is the smallest!! He can lift the same amount of weight, and more, through farther, run faster, is stronger, but just wants to get bigger, i say just wait, you'll keep growing cuz ya know you don't stop growing till your 21!~sweet1~

it is a proven fact of physics that if u want to hit a ball further use a lighter club
because ur lighter (in the arms also) u r in essence swinging a lighter club
as for wrestling when a heavier opponent manipulates a lighter 1 not only is he manipulating the opponent but his own weight as well
also the fact that u r lighter and smaller in muscle mass makes u more agile than some1 with say and extra 30lbs of muscle

My ex decided to take up jogging one morning - out of the blue - his first run was 3 km. Who starts jogging and on day one gets that kind of distance?

My son is just like his dad..misses the bus one morning, gets on a bike and rides it 10 km to work - he hadn't been on a bike in at least 10 years and he's a smoker!

My son is very lean and very muscular but he doesn't work out at all.

I'd say you were just born that way - good for you!

My husband is the same way. He's 6'1" and 149 lbs. But he's unbeleivably strong.
