Your friends eyes are red???? Why post this in the pet section? And why do you people say "go to a dr"..Do you all run to the dr for every little thing?

An Ophthalmologist visit seems prudent. It could be due to allergies; however, a physician or eye care specialist should determine the cause, as well as, a treatment or remedy for such a condition. If he uses contact lenses, it may be due to diminished oxygen exchange on the surface of the eye. Drops are usually prescribed to reduce the inflammation. It could also be conjunctivitis (pink eye) which is very contagious. If small amounts of pus is visible, it may require an antibiotic prescribed.

If your friend is red, she could have been in the sun too long or have a rash due to an allergy. If her eyes are red, she could have conjunctivitis which is highly contagious. She should see a doctor if Visine won't get rid of the red.

Bring him to an eye doctor as soon as possible. Maybe his eyes are irritated or even worse, infected.
