It's not bad so long as you know what it is that you like about him. Being confused, or blinded by appearances would make it bad. But, with there being a distance between you right now, and you're still very aware of your feelings for him, then I would say that the 5 yr difference is meaningless. Legally, the sexual aspects of the relationship may be on hold, so as to safeguard him, but the time shared, and the familiarity gained during the time you are waiting, would solidify and benefit the bonds that brought you together in the first place. That's a long winded way of saying it will give you a chance to make sure it's more than sexual attraction. So no, it's not bad... GOOD LUCK!!

Nope, not at all. I'm engaged to a man 28 years older than me and we're happy, in love and everything is fantastic. I have a better relationship with him than with someone my own age! You'll get a lot of people telling you it's not right, but who cares. If you're happy and he's happy, everyone else can forget it. If they were in your situation they'd be doing the same exact thing. Good luck and have fun! :)

It depends on your ages and the age of consent laws in your state or country these law do not prevent the two of you from likeing each other but do prevent the liking from going into the sexual part of a relationship so I would advise you to check the age of consent laws in your particular area before allowing this to get too serious.

Use the time apart to search yourself for the true feelingsthat you really have. Meet other people your age and see if you still feel the same way.
